Bodywork for the Childbearing Year…and Beyond!
How can MFR enhance your childbearing year?
MFR is both relaxing and therapeutic. It addresses the body’s total balance. Torsions of the pelvis occur in 90-95% of women partly because our pelvises are wider and the joint surfaces are flatter. Aches and pains develop as the center of gravity (your pelvis) shifts forward in space. If the pelvis is off balance, everything must compensate throughout the entire body…to stay upright in gravity.
Regular treatment can allleviate many of your areas of tension and the stress, aches, and pains of pregnancy. Following delivery, it is vital to reassess and address the structural imbalances of your changing body…rebalancing the body in order to prevent further myofascial restriction problems.
The Body Cushion is available for added comfort for the pregnant mother during treatment!
MFR can help with many common Childbearing Year Conditons:
- Pregnancy and Post Natal Pain
- Migranes and Headaches
- Neck, Back, and joint pain
- Pelvic/SI/Hip area pain
